Pitch

Pitch 1:  A little girl's imagination gets out of hand one afternoon. Pitch 2: A girl is doing homework when suddenly she finds a mysterious note left in her book for her. Pitch 3: A young mom is driving to pick up her son from school, when out of the blue and friend from her past comes her way. Pitch one is an ideal one for our group, as it involves at least three girl characters, and our group has four girls. This leaves one of us to film, which is good so we don't have to go out of our way to find another cameraman. This, along with the fact that the wording allows for wiggle room, is a pro to pitch 1. However, we would have to take extra steps to ensure the phone calls can be heard and understood in our final product, which adds a bit more editing, but I think our group is up for that challenge. Pitch 2 is also a reasonable pitch for our group, because we can have one of us acting and the rest of us tackling other responsibilities. However, we are not sure how much we can d

Group

I'm so excited to start this project with a new group and see what Violet Roberts, Dara Sedaka, Addison Walker, and I can accomplish together. Well, it's not actually a completely new group of people. I was already previously partnered with two of the people in my current group, in the past. Violet and Dara were both in my group last year, along with another student, and we did multiple projects together. It caused our group to break up and it was the reason why we didn't work together for the final project. However, I don't think this conflict will bring up and problems this time around. This is because the issue that arose wasn't between me and Violet and Dara, but the other student. Therefore, there shouldn't be any problems between our group now that that other student isn't in the group anymore. Still, from

Hello, my name is Mila Rakic and I am a student attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am currently 16 years old and in my junior year of high school. I decided to take this class again because I really enjoy filmmaking for fun. Ever since I was little I've always been fascinated with people filming and editing videos to create amazing finished products. I used to spend a lot of time as a kid on YouTube and on T.V. watching different people, places, and things. This interest in film has only gotten stronger the past two years with me being quarantined in my house due to COVID-19 in 2020. I would watch a lot of YouTube videos on my laptop to cure my boredom, and many of those videos are usually made by kids my age. Having nothing to do anyway, I turned to filming and editing videos of myself as well, creating sort of knock-off YouTube videos. I filmed many things, ranging from daily vlogs, videos of me doing my makeup, videos of my practicing volleyball, and the list goes on and o
