Shopping for Costumes Last Minute

While we were talking the other day, we realized Hannah and Brianna don't have the right costumes for our film. Since they're acting as twins in their scenes, they need to have the perfect outfits that correlate to each other. The first thing we did was decide exactly what we needed them to wear. We all collectively decided that Hannah would have a white "worn-out" outfit. We wanted Brianna to wear the opposite clothing, so we agreed she would have a black "worn-out" outfit. However, Hannah soon came to realize didn't have any white pants. Brianna then went and checked her closet, just to realize that she was missing her black top. After we decided this, we researched stores that had the type of clothes we were looking for. We found that H&M had both the pants and shirt that we were looking for online, so that's where we decided to go. My mom drove to Galleria Mall because it was safest to have a parent behind the wheel. When we went into Galleria, we walked into H&M first. We looked around for about an hour but couldn't find white jeans or the right black shirt anywhere. We came to realize that the clothes were probably only available online and not in-store. We then all agreed to go to the American Eagle store. We knew that they have a variety of jeans and assumed that they more likely than not had white jeans and a good black top. Unfortunately, as we approached American Eagle, we saw that it was closed. None of us had known about this because it just recently shut down. At this point, we were all tired and it was getting late so we decided to just go home. After we went home, we looked online for some clothes. We managed to find even better clothes on the Levi's website, so we decided to order those. Now we need to wait about two days for the clothes to arrive so that we can start filming again.

Plans Gone Wrong

My group and I were supposed to start filming at minimum one day this weekend. My team and I had planned to get started on our film and finish at least a couple of the first clips. If not, it would at least provide a feel for how filming is going to go. Unfortunately, this was not able to be successfully done. It soon came up that my peers and I had previous commitments that weekend, which were not able to be postponed. For example, my mom told me when I got home that we would be visiting my friend out of state that weekend. I would be gone from that Friday night to the next Sunday morning. This left me no time to film since it would be too complicated to film on a school night. This is because I live so far away from everyone else in my group. Storyboard for Time for Dinner

Scene 1: The first five seconds will show clouds going down with "...Presents" and "...Production Company."  Scene 2: The next scene is a tracking shot of a very vibrant neighborhood with the actors' names.  Scene 3: The camera gets closer to a house and shows the film's name. Scene 4: The camera goes into the house slowly. Scene 5: The camera continues throughout the house that looks very put together. Scene 6: The kitchen is a little messy-looking and says "The Music by..." Scene 7: Two girls are shown talking muted as the "Directed by.." is displayed. They are stiff.   Scene 8: Sara grabs a chair and sits as she says her first line stiffly. Scene 9: This is a close-up shot of Lynn and she says her first line very smiley. The Editing has Officially Begun

We finally finished filming all of the clips necessary for our film. The last couple of things we had to do included getting Nicole to record a couple more missing scenes at home with her tripod. After this was done, we were finally completely done with filming for this project. We were able to start on the editing immediately. One of the first things I did was record myself screaming. This was so I could add it in as a voice-over over one of the scenes. Before I could do this though, I had to make sure of some things. I made sure that I did it around the middle of the day when most people were awake. This is because I live in an apartment complex, so I didn't want to upset my neighbors. I also didn't want to upset my own family by yelling too early or late in the day. I also told my family to not be alarmed by my scream because I had to record it for a project and I told them to stay quiet during it so their voices wouldn't be heard in the background.
