Plans Gone Wrong
My group and I were supposed to start filming at minimum one day this weekend. My team and I had planned to get started on our film and finish at least a couple of the first clips. If not, it would at least provide a feel for how filming is going to go. Unfortunately, this was not able to be successfully done. It soon came up that my peers and I had previous commitments that weekend, which were not able to be postponed. For example, my mom told me when I got home that we would be visiting my friend out of state that weekend. I would be gone from that Friday night to the next Sunday morning. This left me no time to film since it would be too complicated to film on a school night. This is because I live so far away from everyone else in my group. By the time I got home from filming, I wouldn't be able to have enough time to sleep before I woke up at 6 the next morning. Therefore, I had to let my team know I couldn't make it that weekend. However, I assumed they would still be able to film at least a couple of scenes without me. Sadly, Violet and Dara let us know that they would have a soccer game that weekend. They would not be able to film either since they said they would leave Friday as well and be back the next Saturday night. This left just Addison, who would not be able to film on her own. My group and I decided to not let this weekend go to waste though, and instead use it to work on the music. Since no music has been decided on yet, each of the members decided to branch out and research. Obviously, my and my peers all came to the conclusion that scary and creepy-sounding music was the general theme to go for. The way I started was by first looking through both royalty-free music, in addition to ones that I would have to ask permission to use. I didn't want to jump straight into looking through royalty-free music, just in case I found something I really wanted to use, even if I would have to go through the process of getting permission to do so.
