Time to really film

After the worker revealed there were no ropes that my group and I had been searching for, they gave another solution. The worker showed my group and me the jump ropes instead. While nobody was really thrilled about the idea, this all soon changed. There was a pink and blue jump rope, which wasn't what anyone was initially looking for but ended up being what was used. Everyone thought it was perfect because the colors perfectly matched the barbie aesthetic. Once this was taken care of, there was the last issue left to tackle, the spoon. My group and I searched high and low throughout the store for a seemingly large spoon, yet it was nowhere to be found. Violet, Dara, and I even went as far as asking another worker if the store had any large spoons. The worker revealed there were none in the store, only regular-sized spoons. Sadly, there was no other alternative option this time like there was with the rope. My group and I decided to check out and go begin filming before the cake melted. My team and I even debated going to another shop to look for the spoon, but it was decided that this would waste too much time, especially since there was such a time crunch that day. I paid for the cake while Dara paid for the rope and then Violet drove to Addison's house to begin the process. The first thing that was done when my group and I got to Addison's house was to set up where the shots would take place and get the rest of the needed props like spoons, plates, juice, and everything else ready. Addison and Violet did hair and makeup while Dara and I set the scenes. Then, when everyone was ready we immediately began shooting. My group and I ran into little to no problems while filming. Small issues, like Addison's dog getting in the way, arose, but issues like these were quickly fixed. For example, Dara and I would take turns holding the dog while the other would film. Unfortunately, we had to cut filming short because we had mixed up the time of the Cambridge awards night. Violet, Dara, and I previously thought the show began at 6:30pm. However, it was quickly realized that it started at 6:00pm, and if we didn't leave immediately everyone would be late. My team and I decided to continue filming the next day to finish the couple of scenes we had left while Violet, Dara, and I rushed to leave and make it to the award night.
